Zijn cliënten zijn actief in uiteenlopende sectoren, waaronder renewable energy/energietransitie, de financiële sector en vastgoed. Onno maakt daarnaast deel uit van het Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Tax-team van Meijburg, waar hij fiscale ondersteuning biedt bij diverse transacties, structureringen en (her)financieringen. Hierbij adviseert hij onder andere over dealondersteuning, post-deal integratie en fiscale optimalisatie.Onno is verder onderdeel van het ESG-team, waarin hij diverse cliënten adviseert over vraagstukken rondom de huidige energietransitie. Dit betreft onder andere cliënten die actief zijn in windenergie, zonne-energie en energieopslag.Onno is gespecialiseerd in complexe internationale fiscale vraagstukken die voortkomen uit grensoverschrijdende transacties van multinationals en investeringsfondsen. Hij profiteert hierbij van zijn internationale ervaring, opgedaan tijdens zijn detachering in 2013 bij KPMG Meijburg Caribbean op Curaçao en later bij KPMG US/New York.
