#  Douanerecht en Controversy

Organisaties raken steeds vaker betrokken bij discussies met belastingautoriteiten over belastingheffing. Dit gebeurt in Nederland, maar ook daarbuiten. Met toenemende handelsbarrières en geopolitieke spanningen wordt expertise rondom douanerecht steeds belangrijker.

Met toenemende handelsbarrières en geopolitieke spanningen worden douaneprocedures steeds complexer. Kalshoven: “Het vervelende is dat elke goederenbeweging tot problemen kan leiden. Voor bedrijven is dat vaak moeilijk te managen.” Juist daarom is specialistische douane-expertise onmisbaar. Abdullah: “Je probeert een zaak op basis van de feiten en de wet- en regelgeving tot het beste resultaat voor de cliënt te krijgen. Of dat nu via procedures of via constructief overleg is – we zoeken altijd de beste route.”
