Compliance Requirements and Considerations for Workforce Movement between India and the Netherlands

JUNE 28, 2024

With the increasing trade and investment between India and the Netherlands, the need to transfer workforce between these countries has grown significantly. This can involve either hiring individuals on local contracts or seconding employees between India and the Netherlands.

There are numerous key considerations when employees move to the Netherlands or return to India and vice versa. The webinars will guide you through the essential immigration, social security and tax obligations, along with other crucial points. Additionally, we will provide practical guidance on local management responsibilities and the necessary governance to be established.

During the webinars, we will cover the latest and upcoming regulations related to tax and global mobility, which are pertinent to your operations.

We will host two webinars:
i) Session 1: Focus on Indian employees moving/being seconded to the Netherlands.
ii) Session 2: Focus on Dutch employees moving/being seconded to India.

The webinars, conducted in English, will be led by Vineet Agarwal (Chartered Accountant, Partner) and Maarten Greijn (Senior Manager, People Services, KPMG Netherlands). Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions via the chat.
